Passing through the Furnace: Death Valley

Utah to Death Valley to Yosemite
When you are riding a black
motorcycle while wearing full protective gear, you should not ride through
Death Valley in late June. Trust me on
this one.

| As we entered Death Valley, Jonathan was wondering why on earth I would stop to take a photo in this heat. |

You should also not camp in
Death Valley in late June, as the rapidly cooling oven sitting below sea level
creates a vacuum that blows the winds well into the early morning. Sometimes I hate thermodynamics.
